KAT FUQUA HONORED BY USET & HERMES
Unites States Equestrian Team, who manages future Olympians to represent USA, recognized KAT FUQUA by honoring this special Hermès Trophy, for 2025 to Young Rider most likely to succeed in an Olympic Sport.
The history of the Lionel Guerrand-Hermès Trophy is described by Philip Richter, USET Trustee. Let's take a moment to pray for then Lionel Guerrand Hermès who died at the age of 18, whose father Patrick set up this special award in 1983. Lionel was an up and coming talented Show Jumper training in the United States. Sadly, his life ended short, killed in a car accident. Patrick Guerrand Hermès, Lionel’s Father passed this August 2024 at the age of 91. Kat plans to honor the father & son to show her sincere appreciation of the most honored award she has achieved to date.
